I am a Wyoming girl who lives with the most amazing husband and her wonderful kiddos. I'm an elementary teacher taking a break to stay at home with my family. I believe that unexpected moments become the memories we cherish forever and strive to make each of them count - and not to take any of them for granted. I love to create things and use a variety of mediums as my creative canvas ... food, fabric, wood,  and paint. I created JCD hoping to spread inspiration and smiles to the world around me. I hope you find something that makes you smile while you're visiting.

Jasey's Crazy Daisy is my creative gallery. It is a work in progress that evolves as I do with the purpose of making hearts smile, tummies full, and homes happy. I write about recipes, crafts, quilting, home projects, gift ideas many including free printables, and activities for kids, as well as anything else that makes my heart sing.

Blogging has not only given me an outlet to share my ideas, it has given me the confidence to explore many wonderful opportunities. Recently I became a Featured Foodie at Recipe Lion. One of my recipes won 4th place in a Taste of Homes contest and was featured in the April/May 2011 Simple and Delicious edition of their magazine and published in the Taste of Homes 2012 Quick Cooking Annual Recipes cookbook. Several of my projects have been selected as The CSI Project's Top 10 and my chair planters were featured in Ladies' Home Journal (the June, 2012 edition). There's nothing more fun than seeing my ideas in print to share with the world.
