Cake Batter Dipped Pretzels

I'm always trying to think of fun recipes that are worthy to use as gifts... something tasty, easy to package,  and simple to prepare. And if my kids can help, well that's just a bonus. Since my kiddos love anything cake batter flavored, and so does my cousin, whose birthday happens to be tomorrow, I was looking  for a new cake batter creation. Happy Birthday, Daulton! We love these! Look at them, don't they just scream, "PARTY?" And yet they are super easy, delicious, and perfect for kids to help with. Pour some in a treat bag, or mason jar, tie them with some cute ribbon, and you have a tasty treat perfect for giving. Make sure to keep some for home. I love that they are bite-sized - a perfect little treat for those moments when you really just need something sweet.

Cake Batter Dipped Pretzel Bites
*Recipe by Jasey's Crazy Daisy

1 lb. (16 oz.) almond bark
1/4 cup white cake mix, straight from the box
1 bag of pretzel twists
Sprinkles

Cover work surface with  wax paper. Pour sprinkles onto paper plate, set aside. Using microwave, melt almond bark as directed on package. When almond bark is soft, pour in cake mix and use a fork to stir well. Alternate between microwaving for 15 seconds and stirring until the mixture is smooth. Working quickly, dip pretzels into almond bark mixture. After tapping excess of, dip into sprinkles and place on wax paper to dry. When almond mixture has hardened, store in an air-tight container. As always, enjoy!!!
